Dangerous Creatures

They came while she was sleeping
They crept in through the cracks in her wall
Dangerous creatures
She’s wrapped herself in armour shining
Silver like a star fallen from
The folds of night’s dark skirts

They play in her mind creating labyrinths to push her through
She spins around and round and round

She decorates the hours

Like the Sun
She says, I am the Sun

They circle around like dark orbits in her universe
