Did ya hear what the police did?
Short and killed the neighbor's kid,
an unarmed woman shot down four or five times.
And I lived right across the street -
had to let it all sink in.
Because when the evidence is shaky
and they lose the video tape,
call your mom and tell her you're the biggest drug dealer in the state.
That's not quite the way I'd like to go.

They murdered all your leaders and took away your guns
and then you got some thugs for leaders and gave you back your guns -
