For The Weekend

Didn't waste your time
Now it feels like a Friday night
Twenty-fifth and ninth
You found my hand, then I lost my mind

Yeah, you could call me insane
But you're the reason I'm awake
It's hard to sleep when the city is breathing
I could overdose on your taste
I'll take the wheel
You cut the breaks
I don't need to sleep when I'm already dreaming

I could live in this feeling forever
I don't need tomorrow if I'm here together with you
Take me high as the sky or the ceiling
I don't even care if it's just for the weekend

Think I lost my phone
I don't care if we don't get home
If you're down, let me know
'Cause nowhere with you is better than being alone

Yeah, you could call me insane
But you're the reason I'm awake
It's hard to sleep when the city is breathing
I could overdose on your taste
I'll take the wheel
You cut the breaks
I don't need to sleep when I'm already dreaming

I could live in this feeling forever
I don't need tomorrow if I'm here together with you
Take me high as the sky or the ceiling
I don't even care if it's just for the weekend

I could live in this feeling forever
I don't need tomorrow if I'm here together with you
Take me high as the sky or the ceiling
I don't even care if it's just for the weekend, yeah
