All My Weapons

I sharpened this dagger with love …
but now I fear that I've ripped myself off …
'cos it's sticking in my flesh …
and I don't feel what it means to get hurt …
my trust's in the hands of a liar …
he turned me around … then he opened the fire …
the eyes in the back of my head didn't see it at all …

all my weapons … I gave them away …
all my weapons … kill me today …

dynamite's in every thought …
exploding in too many battles I fought …
and every explosion …
was strong enough to blow me away …

Bombs were thrown on my head …
pilots pushed buttons and didn't feel bad …
decorated with medals I gave back to avoid any war …

If I remain quiet … somebody else will go …
If I remain tired … not wanting more to know...
