A flash before your eyes
From my swinging blade
The howling of wind
Hissing fills the air
Shock, your limbs freeze
Loss of conscious sets in
A crimson wash covers your sight
A realization, the end
A blanket of warmth
Covered in life fluid
A familiar warm embrace
Slumped to the earth
Sense come to
Clutching your throat
The gushing of blood
The howling wind
An inflicted wound
Signaling your death
Breathing ceased
The pulsing of blood
Heart pumping life from your veins
The howling now ceased
The beat of your pulse
Slowly dies with you
