Traces of Pandemonium

When I was a kid, I used to be afraid
Holy images of destruction and evilness
Crucifixes used to make me trembling with fear
Demons and angels filled my nights of nightmares

Growing up I started to realize
That fear it’s just another way of controlling us
I opened my eyes but I was still underwater
And puppeteers were toasting brandy on the shoreline

Are we heading towards the pandemonium?

Now I know we can find evilness
Hiding in people that are closer than we think
They're being pushed by the ambition of selfishness
And they can betray their own blood for business

Mistake after another it seems we will never learn
