The only Beneficiaries of Globalization are
the largest, richest, multi-national corporations;
they have doubled their wealth in the last 5
years. The corporate greed of the WTO, IMF
and World Bank is destroying species (50,000
endangered species disappear forever each
year!), deforesting whole nations (214,000
acres of rainforest -an area larger than NYC-
is cut down EVERY day) and wasting resources
at a pace unseen in human history while the
great majority of the population of the planet
is forced into poverty, lacking true democracy
and without the most elemental human rights...
