The summer night lays thick around
I close my eyes and don't speak
As i slowly flow down empty streets

The passenger seat's where i usually sleep
When one of my friends drive

And where we'll go tonight i don't know
Everything around seems too slow
But we keep making good time although
The streetlights all pass in slowmo'
Yeah, everything around seems too slow
With headlights on making roads glow
We can't help but drift off

The streetlights block out all the stars
But i guess that's all right
As long as the street's thick with neon signs

The driver seats where i fail to keep
The speed limit all night
