When I was young
Yearning to be free
I never cared
How hard the road might be
I left my home
For dreams I don't recall
For I was young
And knew it all

The tree grows green
And blossoms in the spring
When its roots are deep and strong
A man may dream
But when his heart needs peace
Then his roots will lead him home

I'm older now
