Staring At Blazes

Starring at blazes consuming dreams and hopes
The branch where the bird used to sing is no more
There's no way out of this spiral wrath
Of fire and pain
Humanity at it's knees
Hopping to see the light again
Is raining fire and the lake is dry
I wonder why?

Despair is in the air
My soul is on fire and I can't cry
Punishment for being alive
And not willing to die
Nowhere to run
I could blow the fire dead
The day is sad and you can cry

While flying inside cold clouds
My wings burning like embers
My heart if full of doubts
Should I stay and join the fight?

One of these days
I prayed against the God who oppressed me
I prayed for more freedom
For more reason, for more humanity
I received the same answer a sacred mute
I also want to be sacred and silent
I want to be furious and powerful
I want to be the good and the bad
I want to be a disillusioned adult
And a child full of desire to climb trees
I don't want to be anything
And I just want to hug you in the tide of my impossibilities

Wildlife is on fire

When everything is turned to ashes
The sorrow will fill the air
The search for pieces of life
That was once happiness and laughter
There it is a piece of a photograph
The future is there at your feet
A hug, a glance, a tear and goodbye

Comfort among the destruction
It burns hot, it burns north, it burs south, west and east
