Long live the king
عَاشَ الْمَلِيك
ʿāsha al-malīk
His status is high
سَامِيًا مَقَامُه
sāmīyan maqāmuh
Flags waving in the heights
خَافِقَاتٍ فِي الْمَعَالِي أَعْلَامُه
khāfiqātin fī al-maʿālī aʿlāmuha

We have achieved our dreams
نَحْنُ أَحْرَزْنَا الْمُنَى
naḥnu aḥraznā al-munā
On the day you revived for us
يَوْمَ أَحْيَيْتَ لَنَا
yawma aḥyayta lanā
A rise that inspires us
نَهْضَةً تَحْفِزُنَا
nahḍatan taḥfizunā
Soaring above the peaks of the stars
تَتَسَامَىٰ فَوْقَ هَامِ الشُّهُب
tatasāmā fawqa hāmī al-shuhub

O king of the Arabs
يَا مَلِيكَ الْعَرَب
yā malīka al-ʿarab
You have the best of prophets
لَكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ نَبِي
laka min khayri nabī
A honor in lineage
شَرَفٌ فِي النَّسَب
sharafun fī al-nasab
Spoken of in the pages of books
حَدَّثَتْ عَنْهُ بُطُونُ الْكُتُب
ḥaddathat ʿanhu buṭūnu al-kutub

The glorious youth
اَلشَّبَابُ الْأَمْجَد
al-shabābu al-amjad
Your dedicated soldiers
جُنْدُكَ الْمُجَنَّد
junduka al-mujannad
Their resolve never fades
عَزْمُهُ لَا يَخْمَد
ʿazmuhu lā yakhmad
In them, your essence is a symbol of perseverance
فِيهِ مِنْ مَعْنَاكَ رَمْزُ الدَّأَب
fīhi min maʿnāk ramzu al-daʾab

O king of the Arabs
يَا مَلِيكَ الْعَرَب
yā malīka al-ʿarab
You have the best of prophets
لَكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ نَبِي

فِي الْبَرَايَا سَيِّدَا
fī al-barāyā sayyidā
Content and glorified
هَانِئًا مُمَجَّدَا
hāniʾan mumajjadan
Under your flags, the glory of the Arabs
تَحْتَ أَعْلَامِكَ مَجْدُ الْعَرَب
taḥta aʿlāmika majdu al-ʿarab
