Endless Plane

Trapped within the office halls where rooms play with the mind
None around to hear the screaming, fearing what's confined
Lights keep buzzing up above, the carpet wet and moldy
No respite and no relief from trials now unfolding

An external dimension and a plane beyond our own
Where darkness snuffs the light out, where horrors are condoned
Countless impossible levels that are infinite in scale
Souls explore here mindlessly, doomed all to fail

Wandering through the endless halls
Nightmares lurking within these walls
Stalking the rooms, only to find
More of the monoyellow halls unwind
Heartbeat racing, gotta be fast
Everywhere to run, but nowhere to last
Where do you go when it all look the same?
Have to make it out and flee this endless plane

Seek refuge in a corner, can't believe it's real
Monsters roaming all around, waiting for their meal
Something shuffles in the distance, time to get a move on
Clatters scraping, clawing, yeah, I think you don't belong

The doors all lead to nowhere, but there might be a slight chance
That one door leads to freedom in this infinite expanse
Some open to more levels, more to second guess
Is this realm a hellscape or is it just a test?
