Estaré afuera esta noche,I will stay out here tonight,
mirando el cielo estrellado.looking at the starry sky.
No he estado aquí en mucho tiempo,I haven't been here in a long time,
pero este lugar siempre estuvo aquí.but this place was always there.

todas las cosas que simplemente pasaron de largo.all the things that just passed it by.
Nunca pensé que volvería aquí,I never thought I would come back here,
para que me diga quién soy.for it to tell me who I am.

Podía sentirlo alcanzándome.I could feel it reaching out to me.
Podría muy bien cerrar los ojos ahora,I might just as well close my eyes now,
y sentir este lugar dentro de mí.and feel this place inside myself.

y quienquiera que haya sido, ya no importa sé,and whoever I was, it doesn't matter anymore I know,
todos esos recuerdos escondidos en lo más profundo.all these memories hidden deep down below.
aunque en algún lugar en el camino antes, todas esas cosas se perdieron,though somewhere on the way before, all those things got lost,
sé que habrá cosas nuevas donde sea que vaya.I know there will be new things wherever I may go.

así que sea lo que sea, ya no me importa sé,so whatever it was, I don't care for it anymore I know,
sin tiempo para lamentarse porque hay nuevas cosas por sembrar.no time for mourning 'cause there are new things to sow.
aunque pensé que sabía quién era, debe haber sido otra persona,though I thought I knew who I was, it must have been someone else,
