Sight revived, I noticed I’ve been sleeping far too long
Filled and idle waiting while the maestros wrote their songs
Herded in with introverts who never even want to play, until
One by one they disappear to skip the losing game
Anything to save me from my fate of blending in
And maybe if I crack my shell, there will be light in dying skin
And maybe we can find a life when all our life is spent, but
For now it seems we’ll burn until the end
