Nobody Complains But Me

What could be better
Than losing another battle
But this time being for sure
To end up lying in the ground?

What could we better
Than never having to worry
About what has to be done next
Just to make my bitter thoughts perform?

Losing is not always easy
It takes some guts to lay yourself down
And expose your stomach
To the vicious teeth of a growling dog

Winning is nothing
If the outcome is always the same
There is nothing left in my pockets
There is nothing left of my disgraceful name

Everybody looks for a purpose
Even if they are looking for room to breathe
Nobody complains about living
Nobody complains but me

I had the rest of my well-planned life
Written on the walls of my well-built house
But today my big house caught on fire
And the word of my life burned in the flames
