An Angel, a Demon and a Dying God

The clock goes dead
Within my hallowed shell
Vivid reflections
Turning to gray

Nightmares arise like spiraling circles
Contained inside my furious mind
I burn my thoughts
On my soul's exterior
Raptured fragments
Of collapsing dreams

The morbid sense
Of existence guides me
To the place where madness dwells
Afar from end, not far from dead
Beyond the realm of light

Escaping in
A dream of insanity
A way of suspending reality
Visionary dreams of logic
Seduction of a burning mind

Crumbled thoughts
The shattered mirrors
Pierce the walls
Of my raveled existence
Imperious pain descends upon me
Dancing to the melody
Of empty hopes

Transcendence of madness
Inward sensation
On the spine of my back
Perception of feelings
Stripped down to the core
Spiritual conception
I've been here before

Encircled by darkness
Twisted state of grace
Everything moves backwards!
What is this crazy place?

Cosmic creatures swift in sequence
An angel, a demon and a dying God
The angel is crying
Like if she's mourning for the dying
Ripping her wings
To mortify her carnal sins
The demon is sleeping,
I think he must be dreaming
I see a lustful smile upon his face
The God is screaming
With all strength that's left in him
Blood is falling
From the crimson sky
One God is dead
Silence surrounds me
Embraced by apathy
I am endless and complete
