Cast into the Well of Remembrance

Of kin whose blood has shed
To shield from the crushing hands of fate
Akin to those whose sorrows
Seep from the depths of innate self
The hollow ground echoes to be answered
By the actions of desperation
No fortune to be told
Moreso a lesson yet to learn

Gaze upon the stone
Its fractured face is telling
Invoke the will to know
And cast into the well of remembrance

Twisting visions of what could be
And that which you have lost
Remembrance found in ancient blood
Push to the edge of sanity

In solitude a chant is heard
From beyond the hollow's edge
From twisted tongues not recognized
A spell is spoken into being
Divination unfolds in the glistening rays
Of moonlight's despondent reach
Thresholds of suffering
Realized

The fragile mind shall see
The horrors that it wills
An omen from within
Frozen in the trance of memory

Gaze upon the hand
Its fractured flesh is bleeding
Accept the fate of one
