Little ol' Joey lived on a farm
Lots of animals he could harm
Cut off the rooster's wing
Tie up a duck's bill with string
Then one day as he ran
He came up with an evil plan

I know something I could wreck
I might get in trouble but what the heck
I think I'll chop the head off a chicken's neck

Then he went and got an axe
Loaned to him from Uncle Max
No one was around he was assured
Sliced the feathered neck right off the bird
But as the body moved astray
The head seemed to stare at him in a mysterious way

No one but him was aware
I don't think they really care
But afterwards for days and days
He still saw the chicken head's silent gaze

Joe, you can't get away
What you did was fowl play
Following you always, it's undead
The laughing, crying chicken head
Nobody can see or hear but you
Your world has become a zoo

Life is hell since you fell to the chicken head
It's eyes ablaze in a staring gaze, pupils shade of red
Yes, it died, not Kentucky fried, but it never bled

It's having fun as you shun, no way you could have fled
It will not halt, it's all your fault, can't kill it with lead
But don't complain, it's in your brain, on your sorrow it fed
All the guilt that you built, you'd rather be dead

Now it's done, not worth the fun, the fury of the chicken head
Took a little time for a little crime, the wrath of the chicken head

Why! Why did I do this to me
The intangible chicken head
