What are the limits to the power of speech?
Of course they try to prove that what they say is backed up by public opinion.
I heard someone say that he would like to see unionists shut their mouths once and for all.
A thousand people were listening to him.
I like the way they keep the dirt clean; by encouraging hypocritical values such as individuality.
Turn on the radio and let the right wing speech invade or persuade your conception of difference.
That is what they try to do without even knowing they're all wrong.
As white men lead this open-handed world, women keep floating down an endless stream.
And we have built the boat.
The radio is still playing the song of disparagement.
Hey you with the microphone !
Would you be strong enough to sleep in my bed of sickness ?
Would you be strong enough to live one day in my own existence?
Come downstairs and I'll show you what my distress is.
Never forget that nothing is harder than living in this life.
If you sing along with them, then you accept the message they carry.
If you open this door, then you become one of those windows stained with ambition.
